Along with 350 other representatives from more than 30 countries, I flew to Minneapolis last month to attend Landscape Structures’ annual meeting. This was my 28th meeting and the 38th anniversary of Ross Recreation Equipment Company’s partnership with Landscape Structures!
Steve King introduced us to an array of new products including “Pulse,” a sensor-activated electronic playground game that makes kids move, gets their heart rates up, and is lots of fun – kind of reminds me of electronic foursquare!
In Minneapolis, we learned that Kiwanis International had recognized Landscape Structures as a vision partner because of their commitment to childrens’ welfare. Jim Roberts, past president of the Napa Kiwanis Club, joined us at a general session and shared his experiences leading over 50 volunteer installations at Napa Valley schools and parks.
New product launches are always exciting, but for me the best part of the annual sales meeting is reconnecting with old friends and fellow LSI reps. Invariably I leave these meetings excited and proud to be a small part of an outstanding organization.
