FitLot Springfield, in an effort to help keep aging populations healthy and fit and to support local communities, AARP has adopted a program to introduce FitLot fitness clusters to every state in the U.S. Willamalane Park & Rec in Springfield, Oregon was chosen as a partner to bring a new FitLot outdoor fitness park to the existing Bob Keefer Park. FitLot partners with Landscape Structures to design and build these fitness clusters, which offer a variety of exercise stations, band attachments and a large overhead shade sail to keep users cool. Along with the fitness equipment being open to all users, FitLot also offers additional classes and programing to the community.
