Located in San Francisco’s bustling Mission District, the Mission Playground combines the best of what’s new and old by offering families a new Vortex splashpad, renovated athletic fields and a renovated Landscape Structures play structure.

Details

Edward Chin, landscape architect at the City’s Department of Public Works, designed both the original playground and the new park plan, which now offers users a central plaza that functionally links the active elements of the new park and provides accessible pathways of travel for visitors of all abilities.
